17장
23 여호와여 이제 주의 종과 그 집에 대하여 말씀하신 것을 영원히 견고케 하시며 말씀하신대로 행하사
23 And now, OLord, let the word that you have spoken concerning your servant and concerning his house be established forever, and do as you have spoken,
24 견고케 하시고 사람으로 영원히 주의 이름을 높여 이르기를 만군의 여호와는 이스라엘의 하나님 곧 이스라엘에게 하나님이시라 하게 하시며 주의 종 다윗의 집이 주 앞에서 견고히 서게 하옵소서
24 and your name will be established and magnified forever, saying,TheLordof hosts, the God of Israel, is Israel's God,and the house of your servant David will be established before you.
25 나의 하나님이여 주께서 종을 위하여 집을 세우실 것을 이미 듣게 하셨으므로 주의 종이 주 앞에서 이 기도로 구할 마음이 생겼나이다
25 For you, my God, have revealed to your servant that you will build a house for him. Therefore your servant has found courage to pray before you.
26 여호와여 오직 주는 하나님이시라 주께서 이 좋은 것으로 주의 종에게 허락하시고
26 And now, OLord, you are God, and you have promised this good thing to your servant.
27 이제 주께서 종의 집에 복을 주사 주 앞에 영원히 두시기를 기뻐하시나이다 여호와여 주께서 복을 주셨사오니 이 복을 영원히 누리리이다 하니라
27 Now you have been pleased to bless the house of your servant, that it may continue forever before you, for it is you, OLord, who have blessed, and it is blessed forever.18장
1 이 후에 다윗이 블레셋 사람을 쳐서 항복받고 블레셋 사람의 손에서 가드와 그 동네를 빼앗고
1 After this David defeated the Philistines and subdued them, and he took Gath and its villages out of the hand of the Philistines.
2 또 모압을 치매 모압 사람이 다윗의 종이 되어 조공을 바치니라
2 And he defeated Moab, and the Moabites became servants to David and brought tribute.
3 소바 왕 하닷에셀이 유브라데강 가에서 자기 권세를 펴고자 하매 다윗이 저를 쳐서 하맛까지 이르고
3 David also defeatedHadadezer king ofZobah-Hamath, as he went to set up his monumentat the river Euphrates.
4 그 병거 일천승과 기병 칠천과 보병 이만을 빼앗고 그 병거 일백승의 말만 남기고 그 외의 병거의 말은 다 발의 힘줄을 끊었더니
4 And David took from him 1,000 chariots,7,000 horsemen, and 20,000 foot soldiers. And David hamstrung all the chariot horses, but left enough for 100 chariots.
5 다메섹 아람 사람이 소바 왕 하닷에셀을 도우러 온지라 다윗이 아람 사람 이만 이천을 죽이고
5 And when the Syrians of Damascus came to help Hadadezer kingof Zobah, David struck down 22,000 men of the Syrians.
6 다메섹 아람에 수비대를 두매 아람 사람이 다윗의 종이 되어 조공을 바치니라 다윗이 어디로 가든지 여호와께서 이기게 하시니라
6 Then David put garrisonsin Syria of Damascus, and the Syrians became servants to David and brought tribute. And theLordgave victory to Davidwherever he went.
7 다윗이 하닷에셀의 신복들의 가진 금방패를 빼앗아 예루살렘으로 가져오고
7 And David took the shields of gold that were carried by the servants of Hadadezer and brought them to Jerusalem.
8 또 하닷에셀의 성읍 디브핫과 군에서 심히 많은 놋을 취하였더니 솔로몬이 그것으로 놋바다와 기둥과 놋그릇들을 만들었더라
8 And fromTibhath and from Cun, cities of Hadadezer, David took a large amount of bronze.With it Solomon made the bronze sea and the pillars and the vessels of bronze.
9 하맛 왕 도우가 다윗이 소바 왕 하닷에셀의 온 군대를 쳐서 파하였다 함을 듣고
9 WhenTou king of Hamath heard that David had defeated the whole army of Hadadezer, kingof Zobah,
10 그 아들 하도람을 보내어 다윗왕에게 문안하고 축복하게 하니 이는 하닷에셀이 이왕에 도우로 더불어 여러번 전쟁이 있던 터에 다윗이 하닷에셀을 쳐서 파하였음이라 하도람이 금과 은과 놋의 여러가지 그릇을 가져 온지라
10 he sent his sonHadoram to King David, to ask about his health and to bless him because he had fought againstHadadezer and defeated him; forHadadezer had often been at war with Tou. And he sent all sorts of articles of gold, of silver, and of bronze.
11 다윗왕이 그것도 여호와께 드리되 에돔과 모압과 암몬 자손과 블레셋 사람과 아말렉등 여러 족속에게서 취하여온 은금과 함께하여 드리니라
11 These also King David dedicated to theLord, together with the silver and gold that he had carried off from all the nations, fromEdom, Moab, the Ammonites, the Philistines, and Amalek.
12 스루야의 아들 아비새가 염곡에서 에돔 사람 일만 팔천을 쳐 죽인지라
12 AndAbishai, the son of Zeruiah, killed 18,000 Edomites in the Valley of Salt.
13 다윗이 에돔에 수비대를 두매 에돔 사람이 다 다윗의 종이 되니라 다윗이 어디로 가든지 여호와께서 이기게 하셨더라
13 Then he put garrisons in Edom, and all the Edomites became David's servants. And theLordgave victory to David wherever he went.
14 다윗이 온 이스라엘을 다스려 모든 백성에게 공과 의를 행할쌔
14 So David reigned over all Israel, and he administered justice and equity to all his people.
15 스루야의 아들 요압은 군대 장관이 되고 아힐룻의 아들 여호사밧은 사관이 되고
15 AndJoab the son of Zeruiah was over the army; and Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud was recorder;
16 아히둡의 아들 사독과 아비아달의 아들 아비멜렉은 제사장이 되고 사워사는 서기관이 되고
16 and Zadok the son of Ahitub andAhimelech the son of Abiathar were priests; andShavsha was secretary;
17 여호야다의 아들 브나야는 그렛 사람과 블렛 사람을 관할하고 다윗의 아들들은 왕을 모셔 대신이 되니라
17로마서
2장
25 네가 율법을 행한즉 할례가 유익하나 만일 율법을 범한즉 네 할례가 무할례가 되었느니라
25 For circumcision indeed is of valueif you obey the law, but if you break the law, your circumcision becomes uncircumcision.
26 그런즉 무할례자가 율법의 제도를 지키면 그 무할례를 할례와 같이 여길것이 아니냐
26 So, ifa man who is uncircumcised keepsthe precepts of the law, will not his uncircumcision be regardedas circumcision?
27 또한 본래 무할례자가 율법을 온전히 지키면 의문과 할례를 가지고 율법을 범하는 너를 판단치 아니하겠느냐
27 Then he who is physicallyuncircumcised but keeps the lawwill condemn you who havethe written codeand circumcision but break the law.
28 대저 표면적 유대인이 유대인이 아니요 표면적 육신의 할례가 할례가 아니라
28 Forno one is a Jewwho is merely one outwardly, nor is circumcision outward and physical.
29 오직 이면적 유대인이 유대인이며 할례는 마음에 할찌니 신령에 있고 의문에 있지 아니한 것이라 그 칭찬이 사람에게서가 아니요 다만 하나님에게서니라
29 But a Jew is oneinwardly, andcircumcision is a matter of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the letter.His praise is not from man but from God.
