15:22-17:7
출15:22 모세가 홍해에서 이스라엘을 인도하매 그들이 나와서 수르 광야로 들어가서 거기서 사흘길을 걸었으나 물을 얻지 못하고 [개역개정]
Ex.15:22 Then Moses led Israel from the Red Sea and they went into the Desert of Shur. For three days they traveled in the desert without finding water. [NIV]출15:23 마라에 이르렀더니 그 곳 물이 써서 마시지 못하겠으므로 그 이름을 마라라 하였더라 [개역개정]
Ex.15:23 When they came to Marah, they could not drink its water because it was bitter. (That is why the place is called Marah.) [NIV]출15:24 백성이 모세에게 원망하여 이르되 우리가 무엇을 마실까 하매 [개역개정]

Ex.15:25 Then Moses cried out to the LORD, and the LORD showed him a piece of wood. He threw it into the water, and the water became sweet. There the LORD made a decree and a law for them, and there he tested them. Ex.15:26 He said, "If you listen carefully to the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the LORD, who heals you." Ex.16:3 The Israelites said to them, "If only we had died by the LORD'S hand in Egypt! There we sat around pots of meat and ate all the food we wanted, but you have brought us out into this desert to starve this entire assembly to death." Ex.16:4 Then the LORD said to Moses, "I will rain down bread from heaven for you. The people are to go out each day and gather enough for that day. In this way I will test them and see whether they will follow my instructions. [NIV]출16:5 여섯째 날에는 그들이 그 거둔 것을 준비할지니 날마다 거두던 것의 갑절이 되리라 [개역개정]
Ex.16:5 On the sixth day they are to prepare what they bring in, and that is to be twice as much as they gather on the other days." [NIV]출16:6 모세와 아론이 온 이스라엘 자손에게 이르되 저녁이 되면 너희가 여호와께서 너희를 애굽 땅에서 인도하여 내셨음을 알 것이요 [개역개정]
Ex.16:6 So Moses and Aaron said to all the Israelites, "In the evening you will know that it was the LORD who brought you out of Egypt, [NIV]출16:7 아침에는 너희가 여호와의 영광을 보리니 이는 여호와께서 너희가 자기를 향하여 원망함을 들으셨음이라 우리가 누구이기에 너희가 우리에게 대하여 원망하느냐 [개역개정]
Ex.16:7 and in the morning you will see the glory of the LORD, because he has heard your grumbling against him. Who are we, that you should grumble against us?" [NIV]출16:8 모세가 또 이르되 여호와께서 저녁에는 너희에게 고기를 주어 먹이시고 아침에는 떡으로 배불리시리니 이는 여호와께서 자기를 향하여 너희가 원망하는 그 말을 들으셨음이라 우리가 누구냐 너희의 원망은 우리를 향하여 함이 아니요 여호와를 향하여 함이로다 [개역개정]
Ex.16:8 Moses also said, "You will know that it was the LORD when he gives you meat to eat in the evening and all the bread you want in the morning, because he has heard your grumbling against him. Who are we? You are not grumbling against us, but against the LORD." [NIV]출16:9 모세가 또 아론에게 이르되 이스라엘 자손의 온 회중에게 말하기를 여호와께 가까이 나아오라 여호와께서 너희의 원망함을 들으셨느니라 하라 [개역개정]

Ex.16:10 While Aaron was speaking to the whole Israelite community, they looked toward the desert, and there was the glory of the LORD appearing in the cloud. [NIV]출16:11 여호와께서 모세에게 말씀하여 이르시되 [개역개정]
Ex.16:11 The LORD said to Moses, [NIV]출16:12 내가 이스라엘 자손의 원망함을 들었노라 그들에게 말하여 이르기를 너희가 해 질 때에는 고기를 먹고 아침에는 떡으로 배부르리니 내가 여호와 너희의 하나님인 줄 알리라 하라 하시니라 [개역개정]
Ex.16:12 "I have heard the grumbling of the Israelites. Tell them, 'At twilight you will eat meat, and in the morning you will be filled with bread. Then you will know that I am the LORD your God.'" [NIV]출16:13 저녁에는 메추라기가 와서 진에 덮이고 아침에는 이슬이 진 주위에 있더니 [개역개정]
Ex.16:13 That evening quail came and covered the camp, and in the morning there was a layer of dew around the camp. [NIV]출16:14 그 이슬이 마른 후에 광야 지면에 작고 둥글며 서리 같이 가는 것이 있는지라 [개역개정]
Ex.16:14 When the dew was gone, thin flakes like frost on the ground appeared on the desert floor. [NIV]출16:15 이스라엘 자손이 보고 그것이 무엇인지 알지 못하여 서로 이르되 이것이 무엇이냐 하니 모세가 그들에게 이르되 이는 여호와께서 너희에게 주어 먹게 하신 양식이라 [개역개정]
Ex.16:15 When the Israelites saw it, they said to each other, "What is it?" For they did not know what it was. Moses said to them, "It is the bread the LORD has given you to eat. [NIV]출16:16 여호와께서 이같이 명령하시기를 너희 각 사람은 먹을 만큼만 이것을 거둘지니 곧 너희 사람 수효대로 한 사람에 한 오멜씩 거두되 각 사람이 그의 장막에 있는 자들을 위하여 거둘지니라 하셨느니라 [개역개정]
Ex.16:16 This is what the LORD has commanded: 'Each one is to gather as much as he needs. Take an omer for each person you have in your tent.'" [NIV]출16:17 이스라엘 자손이 그같이 하였더니 그 거둔 것이 많기도 하고 적기도 하나 [개역개정]
Ex.16:17 The Israelites did as they were told; some gathered much, some little. [NIV]출16:18 오멜로 되어 본즉 많이 거둔 자도 남음이 없고 적게 거둔 자도 부족함이 없이 각 사람은 먹을 만큼만 거두었더라 [개역개정]
Ex.16:18 And when they measured it by the omer, he who gathered much did not have too much, and he who gathered little did not have too little. Each one gathered as much as he needed. [NIV]출16:19 모세가 그들에게 이르기를 아무든지 아침까지 그것을 남겨두지 말라 하였으나 [개역개정]
Ex.16:19 Then Moses said to them, "No one is to keep any of it until morning." [NIV]출16:20 그들이 모세에게 순종하지 아니하고 더러는 아침까지 두었더니 벌레가 생기고 냄새가 난지라 모세가 그들에게 노하니라 [개역개정]
Ex.16:20 However, some of them paid no attention to Moses; they kept part of it until morning, but it was full of maggots and began to smell. So Moses was angry with them. [NIV]출16:21 무리가 아침마다 각 사람은 먹을 만큼만 거두었고 햇볕이 뜨겁게 쬐면 그것이 스러졌더라 [개역개정]
Ex.16:21 Each morning everyone gathered as much as he needed, and when the sun grew hot, it melted away. [NIV]출16:22 여섯째 날에는 각 사람이 갑절의 식물 곧 하나에 두 오멜씩 거둔지라 회중의 모든 지도자가 와서 모세에게 알리매 [개역개정]
Ex.16:22 On the sixth day, they gathered twice as much--two omers for each person--and the leaders of the community came and reported this to Moses. [NIV]출16:23 모세가 그들에게 이르되 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하셨느니라 내일은 휴일이니 여호와께 거룩한 안식일이라 너희가 구울 것은 굽고 삶을 것은 삶고 그 나머지는 다 너희를 위하여 아침까지 간수하라 [개역개정]
Ex.16:23 He said to them, "This is what the LORD commanded: 'Tomorrow is to be a day of rest, a holy Sabbath to the LORD. So bake what you want to bake and boil what you want to boil. Save whatever is left and keep it until morning.'" [NIV]출16:24 그들이 모세의 명령대로 아침까지 간수하였으나 냄새도 나지 아니하고 벌레도 생기지 아니한지라 [개역개정]
Ex.16:24 So they saved it until morning, as Moses commanded, and it did not stink or get maggots in it. [NIV]출16:25 모세가 이르되 오늘은 그것을 먹으라 오늘은 여호와의 안식일인즉 오늘은 너희가 들에서 그것을 얻지 못하리라 [개역개정]
Ex.16:25 "Eat it today," Moses said, "because today is a Sabbath to the LORD. You will not find any of it on the ground today. [NIV]출16:26 엿새 동안은 너희가 그것을 거두되 일곱째 날은 안식일인즉 그 날에는 없으리라 하였으나 [개역개정]
Ex.16:26 Six days you are to gather it, but on the seventh day, the Sabbath, there will not be any." [NIV]출16:27 일곱째 날에 백성 중 어떤 사람들이 거두러 나갔다가 얻지 못하니라 [개역개정]
Ex.16:27 Nevertheless, some of the people went out on the seventh day to gather it, but they found none. [NIV]출16:28 여호와께서 모세에게 이르시되 어느 때까지 너희가 내 계명과 내 율법을 지키지 아니하려느냐 [개역개정]
Ex.16:28 Then the LORD said to Moses, "How long will you refuse to keep my commands and my instructions? [NIV]출16:29 볼지어다 여호와가 너희에게 안식일을 줌으로 여섯째 날에는 이틀 양식을 너희에게 주는 것이니 너희는 각기 처소에 있고 일곱째 날에는 아무도 그의 처소에서 나오지 말지니라 [개역개정]
Ex.16:29 Bear in mind that the LORD has given you the Sabbath; that is why on the sixth day he gives you bread for two days. Everyone is to stay where he is on the seventh day; no one is to go out." [NIV]출16:30 그러므로 백성이 일곱째 날에 안식하니라 [개역개정]
Ex.16:30 So the people rested on the seventh day. [NIV]출16:31 이스라엘 족속이 그 이름을 만나라 하였으며 깟씨 같이 희고 맛은 꿀 섞은 과자 같았더라 [개역개정]
Ex.16:31 The people of Israel called the bread manna. It was white like coriander seed and tasted like wafers made with honey. [NIV]출16:32 모세가 이르되 여호와께서 이같이 명령하시기를 이것을 오멜에 채워서 너희의 대대 후손을 위하여 간수하라 이는 내가 너희를 애굽 땅에서 인도하여 낼 때에 광야에서 너희에게 먹인 양식을 그들에게 보이기 위함이니라 하셨다 하고 [개역개정]
Ex.16:32 Moses said, "This is what the LORD has commanded: 'Take an omer of manna and keep it for the generations to come, so they can see the bread I gave you to eat in the desert when I brought you out of Egypt.'" [NIV]출16:33 또 모세가 아론에게 이르되 항아리를 가져다가 그 속에 만나 한 오멜을 담아 여호와 앞에 두어 너희 대대로 간수하라 [개역개정]
Ex.16:33 So Moses said to Aaron, "Take a jar and put an omer of manna in it. Then place it before the LORD to be kept for the generations to come." [NIV]출16:34 아론이 여호와께서 모세에게 명령하신 대로 그것을 증거판 앞에 두어 간수하게 하였고 [개역개정]
Ex.16:34 As the LORD commanded Moses, Aaron put the manna in front of the Testimony, that it might be kept. [NIV]출16:35 사람이 사는 땅에 이르기까지 이스라엘 자손이 사십 년 동안 만나를 먹었으니 곧 가나안 땅 접경에 이르기까지 그들이 만나를 먹었더라 [개역개정]
Ex.16:35 The Israelites ate manna forty years, until they came to a land that was settled; they ate manna until they reached the border of Canaan. [NIV]출16:36 오멜은 십분의 일 에바이더라 [개역개정]

Ex.17:1 The whole Israelite community set out from the Desert of Sin, traveling from place to place as the LORD commanded. They camped at Rephidim, but there was no water for the people to drink. [NIV]출17:2 백성이 모세와 다투어 이르되 우리에게 물을 주어 마시게 하라 모세가 그들에게 이르되 너희가 어찌하여 나와 다투느냐 너희가 어찌하여 여호와를 시험하느냐 [개역개정]
Ex.17:2 So they quarreled with Moses and said, "Give us water to drink." Moses replied, "Why do you quarrel with me? Why do you put the LORD to the test?" [NIV]출17:3 거기서 백성이 목이 말라 물을 찾으매 그들이 모세에게 대하여 원망하여 이르되 당신이 어찌하여 우리를 애굽에서 인도해 내어서 우리와 우리 자녀와 우리 가축이 목말라 죽게 하느냐 [개역개정]
Ex.17:3 But the people were thirsty for water there, and they grumbled against Moses. They said, "Why did you bring us up out of Egypt to make us and our children and livestock die of thirst?" [NIV]출17:4 모세가 여호와께 부르짖어 이르되 내가 이 백성에게 어떻게 하리이까 그들이 조금 있으면 내게 돌을 던지겠나이다 [개역개정]
Ex.17:4 Then Moses cried out to the LORD, "What am I to do with these people? They are almost ready to stone me." [NIV]출17:5 여호와께서 모세에게 이르시되 백성 앞을 지나서 이스라엘 장로들을 데리고 나일 강을 치던 네 지팡이를 손에 잡고 가라 [개역개정]
Ex.17:5 The LORD answered Moses, "Walk on ahead of the people. Take with you some of the elders of Israel and take in your hand the staff with which you struck the Nile, and go. [NIV]출17:6 내가 호렙 산에 있는 그 반석 위 거기서 네 앞에 서리니 너는 그 반석을 치라 그것에서 물이 나오리니 백성이 마시리라 모세가 이스라엘 장로들의 목전에서 그대로 행하니라 [개역개정]
Ex.17:6 I will stand there before you by the rock at Horeb. Strike the rock, and water will come out of it for the people to drink." So Moses did this in the sight of the elders of Israel. 40시40:1 내가 여호와를 기다리고 기다렸더니 귀를 기울이사 나의 부르짖음을 들으셨도다 [개역개정]
Ps.40:1 For the director of music. Of David. A psalm. I waited patiently for the LORD; he turned to me and heard my cry. [NIV]시40:2 나를 기가 막힐 웅덩이와 수렁에서 끌어올리시고 내 발을 반석 위에 두사 내 걸음을 견고하게 하셨도다 [개역개정]
Ps.40:2 He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. [NIV]시40:3 새 노래 곧 우리 하나님께 올릴 찬송을 내 입에 두셨으니 많은 사람이 보고 두려워하여 여호와를 의지하리로다 [개역개정]
Ps.40:3 He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear and put their trust in the LORD. [NIV]시40:4 여호와를 의지하고 교만한 자와 거짓에 치우치는 자를 돌아보지 아니하는 자는 복이 있도다 [개역개정]
Ps.40:4 Blessed is the man who makes the LORD his trust, who does not look to the proud, to those who turn aside to false gods. [NIV]시40:5 여호와 나의 하나님이여 주께서 행하신 기적이 많고 우리를 향하신 주의 생각도 많아 누구도 주와 견줄 수가 없나이다 내가 널리 알려 말하고자 하나 너무 많아 그 수를 셀 수도 없나이다 [개역개정]
Ps.40:5 Many, O LORD my God, are the wonders you have done. The things you planned for us no one can recount to you; were I to speak and tell of them, they would be too many to declare. [NIV]시40:6 주께서 내 귀를 통하여 내게 들려 주시기를 제사와 예물을 기뻐하지 아니하시며 번제와 속죄제를 요구하지 아니하신다 하신지라 [개역개정]
Ps.40:6 Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but my ears you have pierced; burnt offerings and sin offerings you did not require. [NIV]시40:7 그 때에 내가 말하기를 내가 왔나이다 나를 가리켜 기록한 것이 두루마리 책에 있나이다 [개역개정]
Ps.40:7 Then I said, "Here I am, I have come--it is written about me in the scroll. [NIV]시40:8 나의 하나님이여 내가 주의 뜻 행하기를 즐기오니 주의 법이 나의 심중에 있나이다 하였나이다 [개역개정]
Ps.40:8 I desire to do your will, O my God; your law is within my heart." [NIV]시40:9 내가 많은 회중 가운데에서 의의 기쁜 소식을 전하였나이다 여호와여 내가 내 입술을 닫지 아니할 줄을 주께서 아시나이다 [개역개정]
Ps.40:9 I proclaim righteousness in the great assembly; I do not seal my lips, as you know, O LORD. [NIV]시40:10 내가 주의 공의를 내 심중에 숨기지 아니하고 주의 성실과 구원을 선포하였으며 내가 주의 인자와 진리를 많은 회중 가운데에서 감추지 아니하였나이다 [개역개정]
Ps.40:10 I do not hide your righteousness in my heart; I speak of your faithfulness and salvation. I do not conceal your love and your truth from the great assembly. [NIV]시40:11 여호와여 주의 긍휼을 내게서 거두지 마시고 주의 인자와 진리로 나를 항상 보호하소서 [개역개정]
Ps.40:11 Do not withhold your mercy from me, O LORD; may your love and your truth always protect me. [NIV]시40:12 수많은 재앙이 나를 둘러싸고 나의 죄악이 나를 덮치므로 우러러볼 수도 없으며 죄가 나의 머리털보다 많으므로 내가 낙심하였음이니이다 [개역개정]
Ps.40:12 For troubles without number surround me; my sins have overtaken me, and I cannot see. They are more than the hairs of my head, and my heart fails within me. [NIV]시40:13 여호와여 은총을 베푸사 나를 구원하소서 여호와여 속히 나를 도우소서 [개역개정]
Ps.40:13 Be pleased, O LORD, to save me; O LORD, come quickly to help me. [NIV]시40:14 내 생명을 찾아 멸하려 하는 자는 다 수치와 낭패를 당하게 하시며 나의 해를 기뻐하는 자는 다 물러가 욕을 당하게 하소서 [개역개정]
Ps.40:14 May all who seek to take my life be put to shame and confusion; may all who desire my ruin be turned back in disgrace. [NIV]시40:15 나를 향하여 하하 하하 하며 조소하는 자들이 자기 수치로 말미암아 놀라게 하소서 [개역개정]
Ps.40:15 May those who say to me, "Aha! Aha!" be appalled at their own shame. [NIV]시40:16 주를 찾는 자는 다 주 안에서 즐거워하고 기뻐하게 하시며 주의 구원을 사랑하는 자는 항상 말하기를 여호와는 위대하시다 하게 하소서 [개역개정]
Ps.40:16 But may all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you; may those who love your salvation always say, "The LORD be exalted!" [NIV]시40:17 나는 가난하고 궁핍하오나 주께서는 나를 생각하시오니 주는 나의 도움이시요 나를 건지시는 이시라 나의 하나님이여 지체하지 마소서 [개역개정]
Ps.40:17 Yet I am poor and needy; may the Lord think of me. You are my help and my deliverer; O my God, do not delay. [NIV]
