호세야(Hosea)
1-2
1 웃시야와 요담과 아하스와 히스기야가 이어 유다 왕이 된 시대 곧 요아스의 아들 여로보암이 이스라엘 왕이 된 시대에 브에리의 아들 호세아에게 임한 여호와의 말씀이라
1 The word of the LORD that came to Hosea son of Beeri during the reigns of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, and during the reign of Jeroboam son of Jehoash king of Israel:
2 여호와께서 처음 호세아에게 말씀하실 때 여호와께서 호세아에게 이르시되 너는 가서 음란한 여자를 맞이하여 음란한 자식들을 낳으라 이 나라가 여호와를 떠나 크게 음란함이니라 하시니
2 When the LORD began to speak through Hosea, the LORD said to him, "Go, take to yourself an adulterous wife and children of unfaithfulness, because the land is guilty of the vilest adultery in departing from the LORD."
3 이에 그가 가서 디블라임의 딸 고멜을 맞이하였더니 고멜이 임신하여 아들을 낳으매
3 So he married Gomer daughter of Diblaim, and she conceived and bore him a son.
4 여호와께서 호세아에게 이르시되 그의 이름을 이스르엘이라 하라 조금 후에 내가 이스르엘의 피를 예후의 집에 갚으며 이스라엘 족속의 나라를 폐할 것임이니라
4 Then the LORD said to Hosea, "Call him Jezreel, because I will soon punish the house of Jehu for the massacre at Jezreel, and I will put an end to the kingdom of Israel.
5 그 날에 내가 이스르엘 골짜기에서 이스라엘의 활을 꺾으리라 하시니라
5 In that day I will break Israel`s bow in the Valley of Jezreel."
6 고멜이 또 임신하여 딸을 낳으매 여호와께서 호세아에게 이르시되 그의 이름을 로루하마라 하라 내가 다시는 이스라엘 족속을 긍휼히 여겨서 용서하지 않을 것임이니라
6 Gomer conceived again and gave birth to a daughter. Then the LORD said to Hosea, "Call her Lo-Ruhamah, for I will no longer show love to the house of Israel, that I should at all forgive them.
7 그러나 내가 유다 족속을 긍휼히 여겨 그들의 하나님 여호와로 구원하겠고 활과 칼이나 전쟁이나 말과 마병으로 구원하지 아니하리라 하시니라
7 Yet I will show love to the house of Judah; and I will save them--not by bow, sword or battle, or by horses and horsemen, but by the LORD their God."
8 고멜이 로루하마를 젖뗀 후에 또 임신하여 아들을 낳으매
8 After she had weaned Lo-Ruhamah, Gomer had another son.
9 여호와께서 이르시되 그의 이름을 로암미라 하라 너희는 내 백성이 아니요 나는 너희 하나님이 되지 아니할 것임이니라
9 Then the LORD said, "Call him Lo-Ammi, for you are not my people, and I am not your God.
10 그러나 이스라엘 자손의 수가 바닷가의 모래 같이 되어서 헤아릴 수도 없고 셀 수도 없을 것이며 전에 그들에게 이르기를 너희는 내 백성이 아니라 한 그 곳에서 그들에게 이르기를 너희는 살아 계신 하나님의 아들들이라 할 것이라
10 Yet the Israelites will be like the sand on the seashore, which cannot be measured or counted. In the place where it was said to them, `You are not my people,` they will be called `sons of the living God.`
11 이에 유다 자손과 이스라엘 자손이 함께 모여 한 우두머리를 세우고 그 땅에서부터 올라오리니 이스르엘의 날이 클 것임이로다
11 The people of Judah and the people of Israel will be reunited, and they will appoint one leader and will come up out of the land, for great will be the day of Jezreel.
2장
1 너희 형제에게는 암미라 하고 너희 자매에게는 루하마라 하라
1 Say of your brothers, `My people,` and of your sisters, `My loved one.`
2 너희 어머니와 논쟁하고 논쟁하라 그는 내 아내가 아니요 나는 그의 남편이 아니라 그가 그의 얼굴에서 음란을 제하게 하고 그 유방 사이에서 음행을 제하게 하라
2 Rebuke your mother, rebuke her, for she is not my wife, and I am not her husband. Let her remove the adulterous look from her face and the unfaithfulness from between her breasts.
3 그렇지 아니하면 내가 그를 벌거벗겨서 그 나던 날과 같게 할 것이요 그로 광야 같이 되게 하며 마른 땅 같이 되게 하여 목말라 죽게 할 것이며
3 Otherwise I will strip her naked and make her as bare as on the day she was born; I will make her like a desert, turn her into a parched land, and slay her with thirst.
4 내가 그의 자녀를 긍휼히 여기지 아니하리니 이는 그들이 음란한 자식들임이니라
4 I will not show my love to her children, because they are the children of adultery.
5 그들의 어머니는 음행하였고 그들을 임신했던 자는 부끄러운 일을 행하였나니 이는 그가 이르기를 나는 나를 사랑하는 자들을 따르리니 그들이 내 떡과 내 물과 내 양털과 내 삼과 내 기름과 내 술들을 내게 준다 하였음이라
5 Their mother has been unfaithful and has conceived them in disgrace. She said, `I will go after my lovers, who give me my food and my water, my wool and my linen, my oil and my drink.`
6 그러므로 내가 가시로 그 길을 막으며 담을 쌓아 그로 그 길을 찾지 못하게 하리니
6 Therefore I will block her path with thornbushes; I will wall her in so that she cannot find her way.
7 그가 그 사랑하는 자를 따라갈지라도 미치지 못하며 그들을 찾을지라도 만나지 못할 것이라 그제야 그가 이르기를 내가 본 남편에게로 돌아가리니 그 때의 내 형편이 지금보다 나았음이라 하리라
7 She will chase after her lovers but not catch them; she will look for them but not find them. Then she will say, `I will go back to my husband as at first, for then I was better off than now.`
8 곡식과 새 포도주와 기름은 내가 그에게 준 것이요 그들이 바알을 위하여 쓴 은과 금도 내가 그에게 더하여 준 것이거늘 그가 알지 못하도다
8 She has not acknowledged that I was the one who gave her the grain, the new wine and oil, who lavished on her the silver and gold-- which they used for Baal.
9 그러므로 내가 내 곡식을 그것이 익을 계절에 도로 찾으며 내가 내 새 포도주를 그것이 맛 들 시기에 도로 찾으며 또 그들의 벌거벗은 몸을 가릴 내 양털과 내 삼을 빼앗으리라
9 Therefore I will take away my grain when it ripens, and my new wine when it is ready. I will take back my wool and my linen, intended to cover her nakedness.
10 이제 내가 그 수치를 그 사랑하는 자의 눈 앞에 드러내리니 그를 내 손에서 건져낼 사람이 없으리라
10 So now I will expose her lewdness before the eyes of her lovers; no one will take her out of my hands.
11 내가 그의 모든 희락과 절기와 월삭과 안식일과 모든 명절을 폐하겠고
11 I will stop all her celebrations: her yearly festivals, her New Moons, her Sabbath days--all her appointed feasts.
12 그가 전에 이르기를 이것은 나를 사랑하는 자들이 내게 준 값이라 하던 그 포도나무와 무화과나무를 거칠게 하여 수풀이 되게 하며 들짐승들에게 먹게 하리라
12 I will ruin her vines and her fig trees, which she said were her pay from her lovers; I will make them a thicket, and wild animals will devour them.
13 그가 귀고리와 패물로 장식하고 그가 사랑하는 자를 따라가서 나를 잊어버리고 향을 살라 바알들을 섬긴 시일대로 내가 그에게 벌을 주리라 여호와의 말씀이니라
13 I will punish her for the days she burned incense to the Baals; she decked herself with rings and jewelry, and went after her lovers, but me she forgot," declares the LORD.
14 그러므로 보라 내가 그를 타일러 거친 들로 데리고 가서 말로 위로하고
14 Therefore I am now going to allure her; I will lead her into the desert and speak tenderly to her.
15 거기서 비로소 그의 포도원을 그에게 주고 아골 골짜기로 소망의 문을 삼아 주리니 그가 거기서 응대하기를 어렸을 때와 애굽 땅에서 올라오던 날과 같이 하리라
15 There I will give her back her vineyards, and will make the Valley of Achor a door of hope. There she will sing as in the days of her youth, as in the day she came up out of Egypt.
16 여호와께서 이르시되 그 날에 네가 나를 내 남편이라 일컫고 다시는 내 바알이라 일컫지 아니하리라
16 In that day, declares the LORD, "you will call me `my husband`; you will no longer call me `my master. `
17 내가 바알들의 이름을 그의 입에서 제거하여 다시는 그의 이름을 기억하여 부르는 일이 없게 하리라
17 I will remove the names of the Baals from her lips; no longer will their names be invoked.
18 그 날에는 내가 그들을 위하여 들짐승과 공중의 새와 땅의 곤충과 더불어 언약을 맺으며 또 이 땅에서 활과 칼을 꺾어 전쟁을 없이하고 그들로 평안히 눕게 하리라
18 In that day I will make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field and the birds of the air and the creatures that move along the ground. Bow and sword and battle I will abolish from the land, so that all may lie down in safety.
19 내가 네게 장가 들어 영원히 살되 공의와 정의와 은총과 긍휼히 여김으로 네게 장가 들며
19 I will betroth you to me forever; I will betroth you in righteousness and justice, in love and compassion.
20 진실함으로 네게 장가 들리니 네가 여호와를 알리라
20 I will betroth you in faithfulness, and you will acknowledge the LORD.
21 여호와께서 이르시되 그 날에 내가 응답하리라 나는 하늘에 응답하고 하늘은 땅에 응답하고
21 In that day I will respond, declares the LORD-- "I will respond to the skies, and they will respond to the earth;
22 땅은 곡식과 포도주와 기름에 응답하고 또 이것들은 이스르엘에 응답하리라
22 and the earth will respond to the grain, the new wine and oil, and they will respond to Jezreel.
23 내가 나를 위하여 그를 이 땅에 심고 긍휼히 여김을 받지 못하였던 자를 긍휼히 여기며 내 백성 아니었던 자에게 향하여 이르기를 너는 내 백성이라 하리니 그들은 이르기를 주는 내 하나님이시라 하리라 하시니라
23 I will plant her for myself in the land; I will show my love to the one I called `Not my loved one. ` I will say to those called `Not my people, ` `You are my people`; and they will say, `You are my God.` "시편 (Psalms)
891 내가 여호와의 인자하심을 영원히 노래하며 주의 성실하심을 내 입으로 대대에 알게 하리이다
1 I will sing of the LORD`s great love forever; with my mouth I will make your faithfulness known through all generations.
2 내가 말하기를 인자하심을 영원히 세우시며 주의 성실하심을 하늘에서 견고히 하시리라 하였나이다
2 I will declare that your love stands firm forever, that you established your faithfulness in heaven itself.
3 주께서 이르시되 나는 내가 택한 자와 언약을 맺으며 내 종 다윗에게 맹세하기를
3 You said, "I have made a covenant with my chosen one, I have sworn to David my servant,
4 내가 네 자손을 영원히 견고히 하며 네 왕위를 대대에 세우리라 하셨나이다 (셀라)
4 `I will establish your line forever and make your throne firm through all generations.` " Selah
5 여호와여 주의 기이한 일을 하늘이 찬양할 것이요 주의 성실도 거룩한 자들의 모임 가운데에서 찬양하리이다
5 The heavens praise your wonders, O LORD, your faithfulness too, in the assembly of the holy ones.
6 무릇 구름 위에서 능히 여호와와 비교할 자 누구며 신들 중에서 여호와와 같은 자 누구리이까
6 For who in the skies above can compare with the LORD ? Who is like the LORD among the heavenly beings?
7 하나님은 거룩한 자의 모임 가운데에서 매우 무서워할 이시오며 둘러 있는 모든 자 위에 더욱 두려워할 이시니이다
7 In the council of the holy ones God is greatly feared; he is more awesome than all who surround him.
8 여호와 만군의 하나님이여 주와 같이 능력 있는 이가 누구리이까 여호와여 주의 성실하심이 주를 둘렀나이다
8 O LORD God Almighty, who is like you? You are mighty, O LORD, and your faithfulness surrounds you.
9 주께서 바다의 파도를 다스리시며 그 파도가 일어날 때에 잔잔하게 하시나이다
9 You rule over the surging sea; when its waves mount up, you still them.
10 주께서 라합을 죽임 당한 자 같이 깨뜨리시고 주의 원수를 주의 능력의 팔로 흩으셨나이다
10 You crushed Rahab like one of the slain; with your strong arm you scattered your enemies.
11 하늘이 주의 것이요 땅도 주의 것이라 세계와 그 중에 충만한 것을 주께서 건설하셨나이다
11 The heavens are yours, and yours also the earth; you founded the world and all that is in it.
12 남북을 주께서 창조하셨으니 다볼과 헤르몬이 주의 이름으로 말미암아 즐거워하나이다
12 You created the north and the south; Tabor and Hermon sing for joy at your name.
13 주의 팔에 능력이 있사오며 주의 손은 강하고 주의 오른손은 높이 들리우셨나이다
13 Your arm is endued with power; your hand is strong, your right hand exalted.
14 의와 공의가 주의 보좌의 기초라 인자함과 진실함이 주 앞에 있나이다
14 Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne; love and faithfulness go before you.
15 즐겁게 소리칠 줄 아는 백성은 복이 있나니 여호와여 그들이 주의 얼굴 빛 안에서 다니리로다
15 Blessed are those who have learned to acclaim you, who walk in the light of your presence, O LORD.
16 그들은 종일 주의 이름 때문에 기뻐하며 주의 공의로 말미암아 높아지오니
16 They rejoice in your name all day long; they exult in your righteousness.
17 주는 그들의 힘의 영광이심이라 우리의 뿔이 주의 은총으로 높아지오리니
17 For you are their glory and strength, and by your favor you exalt our horn.
18 우리의 방패는 여호와께 속하였고 우리의 왕은 이스라엘의 거룩한 이에게 속하였기 때문이니이다
18 Indeed, our shield belongs to the LORD, our king to the Holy One of Israel.
19 그 때에 주께서 환상 중에 주의 성도들에게 말씀하여 이르시기를 내가 능력 있는 용사에게는 돕는 힘을 더하며 백성 중에서 택함 받은 자를 높였으되
19 Once you spoke in a vision, to your faithful people you said: "I have bestowed strength on a warrior; I have exalted a young man from among the people.
20 내가 내 종 다윗을 찾아내어 나의 거룩한 기름을 그에게 부었도다
20 I have found David my servant; with my sacred oil I have anointed him.
21 내 손이 그와 함께 하여 견고하게 하고 내 팔이 그를 힘이 있게 하리로다
21 My hand will sustain him; surely my arm will strengthen him.
22 원수가 그에게서 강탈하지 못하며 악한 자가 그를 곤고하게 못하리로다
22 No enemy will subject him to tribute; no wicked man will oppress him.
23 내가 그의 앞에서 그 대적들을 박멸하며 그를 미워하는 자들을 치려니와
23 I will crush his foes before him and strike down his adversaries.
24 나의 성실함과 인자함이 그와 함께 하리니 내 이름으로 말미암아 그의 뿔이 높아지리로다
24 My faithful love will be with him, and through my name his horn will be exalted.
25 내가 또 그의 손을 바다 위에 놓으며 오른손을 강들 위에 놓으리니
25 I will set his hand over the sea, his right hand over the rivers.
26 그가 내게 부르기를 주는 나의 아버지시요 나의 하나님이시요 나의 구원의 바위시라 하리로다
26 He will call out to me, `You are my Father, my God, the Rock my Savior.`
27 내가 또 그를 장자로 삼고 세상 왕들에게 지존자가 되게 하며
27 I will also appoint him my firstborn, the most exalted of the kings of the earth.
28 그를 위하여 나의 인자함을 영원히 지키고 그와 맺은 나의 언약을 굳게 세우며
28 I will maintain my love to him forever, and my covenant with him will never fail.
29 또 그의 후손을 영구하게 하여 그의 왕위를 하늘의 날과 같게 하리로다
29 I will establish his line forever, his throne as long as the heavens endure.
30 만일 그의 자손이 내 법을 버리며 내 규례대로 행하지 아니하며
30 If his sons forsake my law and do not follow my statutes,
31 내 율례를 깨뜨리며 내 계명을 지키지 아니하면
31 if they violate my decrees and fail to keep my commands,
32 내가 회초리로 그들의 죄를 다스리며 채찍으로 그들의 죄악을 벌하리로다
32 I will punish their sin with the rod, their iniquity with flogging;
33 그러나 나의 인자함을 그에게서 다 거두지는 아니하며 나의 성실함도 폐하지 아니하며
33 but I will not take my love from him, nor will I ever betray my faithfulness.
34 내 언약을 깨뜨리지 아니하고 내 입술에서 낸 것은 변하지 아니하리로다
34 I will not violate my covenant or alter what my lips have uttered.
35 내가 나의 거룩함으로 한 번 맹세하였은즉 다윗에게 거짓말을 하지 아니할 것이라
35 Once for all, I have sworn by my holiness-- and I will not lie to David-
36 그의 후손이 장구하고 그의 왕위는 해 같이 내 앞에 항상 있으며
36 that his line will continue forever and his throne endure before me like the sun;
37 또 궁창의 확실한 증인인 달 같이 영원히 견고하게 되리라 하셨도다 (셀라)
37 it will be established forever like the moon, the faithful witness in the sky." Selah
38 그러나 주께서 주의 기름 부음 받은 자에게 노하사 물리치셔서 버리셨으며
38 But you have rejected, you have spurned, you have been very angry with your anointed one.
39 주의 종의 언약을 미워하사 그의 관을 땅에 던져 욕되게 하셨으며
39 You have renounced the covenant with your servant and have defiled his crown in the dust.
40 그의 모든 울타리를 파괴하시며 그 요새를 무너뜨리셨으므로
40 You have broken through all his walls and reduced his strongholds to ruins.
41 길로 지나가는 자들에게 다 탈취를 당하며 그의 이웃에게 욕을 당하나이다
41 All who pass by have plundered him; he has become the scorn of his neighbors.
42 주께서 그의 대적들의 오른손을 높이시고 그들의 모든 원수들은 기쁘게 하셨으나
42 You have exalted the right hand of his foes; you have made all his enemies rejoice.
43 그의 칼날은 둔하게 하사 그가 전장에서 더 이상 버티지 못하게 하셨으며
43 You have turned back the edge of his sword and have not supported him in battle.
44 그의 영광을 그치게 하시고 그의 왕위를 땅에 엎으셨으며
44 You have put an end to his splendor and cast his throne to the ground.
45 그의 젊은 날들을 짧게 하시고 그를 수치로 덮으셨나이다 (셀라)
45 You have cut short the days of his youth; you have covered him with a mantle of shame. Selah
46 여호와여 언제까지니이까 스스로 영원히 숨기시리이까 주의 노가 언제까지 불붙듯 하시겠나이까
46 How long, O LORD ? Will you hide yourself forever? How long will your wrath burn like fire?
47 나의 때가 얼마나 짧은지 기억하소서 주께서 모든 사람을 어찌 그리 허무하게 창조하셨는지요
47 Remember how fleeting is my life. For what futility you have created all men!
48 누가 살아서 죽음을 보지 아니하고 자기의 영혼을 스올의 권세에서 건지리이까 (셀라)
48 What man can live and not see death, or save himself from the power of the grave ? Selah
49 주여 주의 성실하심으로 다윗에게 맹세하신 그 전의 인자하심이 어디 있나이까
49 O Lord, where is your former great love, which in your faithfulness you swore to David?
50 주는 주의 종들이 받은 비방을 기억하소서 많은 민족의 비방이 내 품에 있사오니
50 Remember, Lord, how your servant has been mocked, how I bear in my heart the taunts of all the nations,
51 여호와여 이 비방은 주의 원수들이 주의 기름 부음 받은 자의 행동을 비방한 것이로소이다
51 the taunts with which your enemies have mocked, O LORD, with which they have mocked every step of your anointed one.
52 여호와를 영원히 찬송할지어다 아멘 아멘
52 Praise be to the LORD forever! Amen and Amen.
