39장
1 유다의 시드기야 왕의 제구년 열째 달에 바벨론의 느부갓네살 왕과 그의 모든 군대가 와서 예루살렘을 에워싸고 치더니
1 In the ninth year of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the tenth month, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and all his army came against Jerusalem and besieged it.
2 시드기야의 제십일년 넷째 달 아홉째 날에 성이 함락되니라 예루살렘이 함락되매
2 In the eleventh year of Zedekiah, in the fourth month, on the ninth day of the month, a breach was made in the city.
3 바벨론의 왕의 모든 고관이 나타나 중문에 앉으니 곧 네르갈사레셀과 삼갈네부와 내시장 살스김이니 네르갈사레셀은 궁중 장관이며 바벨론의 왕의 나머지 고관들도 있더라
3 Then allthe officials of the king of Babylon cameand sat in the middle gate: Nergal-sar-ezer of Samgar, Nebu-sar-sekimthe Rab-saris, Nergal-sar-ezer the Rab-mag, with all the rest of the officers of the king of Babylon.
4 유다의 시드기야 왕과 모든 군사가 그들을 보고 도망하되 밤에 왕의 동산 길을 따라 두 담 샛문을 통하여 성읍을 벗어나서 아라바로 갔더니
4 When Zedekiah king of Judah and all the soldiers saw them, they fled, going out of the city at night by way of the king's garden through the gate between the two walls; and they went towardthe Arabah.
5 갈대아인의 군대가 그들을 따라 여리고 평원에서 시드기야에게 미쳐 그를 잡아서 데리고 하맛 땅 립나에 있는 바벨론의 느부갓네살 왕에게로 올라가매 왕이 그를 심문하였더라
5 But the army of the Chaldeans pursued them and overtook Zedekiah inthe plains of Jericho. And when they had taken him, they brought him up to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, atRiblah, in the land of Hamath;and he passed sentence on him.
6 바벨론의 왕이 립나에서 시드기야의 눈 앞에서 그의 아들들을 죽였고 왕이 또 유다의 모든 귀족을 죽였으며
6 The king of Babylonslaughtered the sons of Zedekiah atRiblah before his eyes, and the king of Babylonslaughtered all the nobles of Judah.
7 왕이 또 시드기야의 눈을 빼게 하고 바벨론으로 옮기려고 사슬로 결박하였더라
7 He put out the eyes of Zedekiah and bound him in chains to take him to Babylon.
8 갈대아인들이 왕궁과 백성의 집을 불사르며 예루살렘 성벽을 헐었고
8 The Chaldeans burned the king's house and the house of the people,and broke down the walls of Jerusalem.
9 사령관 느부사라단이 성중에 남아 있는 백성과 자기에게 항복한 자와 그 외의 남은 백성을 잡아 바벨론으로 옮겼으며
9 ThenNebuzaradan, thecaptain of the guard, carried into exile to Babylon the rest of the people who were left in the city,those who had deserted to him, and the people who remained.
10 사령관 느부사라단이 아무 소유가 없는 빈민을 유다 땅에 남겨 두고 그 날에 포도원과 밭을 그들에게 주었더라
10 Nebuzaradan, the captain of the guard,left in the land of Judah some of the poor people who owned nothing, and gave them vineyards and fields at the same time.
11 바벨론의 느부갓네살 왕이 예레미야에 대하여 사령관 느부사라단에게 명령하여 이르되
11 Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon gave command concerning Jeremiah through Nebuzaradan, the captain of the guard, saying,
12 그를 데려다가 선대하고 해하지 말며 그가 네게 말하는 대로 행하라
12 Take him, look after him well, and do him no harm, but deal with him as he tells you.
13 이에 사령관 느부사라단과 내시장 느부사스반과 궁중 장관 네르갈사레셀과 바벨론 왕의 모든 장관이
13 SoNebuzaradan the captain of the guard, Nebushazban the Rab-saris, Nergal-sar-ezer the Rab-mag,and all the chief officers of the king of Babylon
14 사람을 보내어 예레미야를 감옥 뜰에서 데리고 사반의 손자 아히감의 아들 그다랴에게 넘겨서 그를 집으로 데려가게 하매 그가 백성 가운데에 사니라
14 sent and took Jeremiah fromthe court of the guard. They entrusted him toGedaliah the son ofAhikam, son ofShaphan, that he should take him home. Sohe lived among the people.
15 예레미야가 감옥 뜰에 갇혔을 때에 여호와의 말씀이 그에게 임하니라 이르시되
15 The word of theLordcame to Jeremiahwhile he was shut up in the court of the guard:
16 너는 가서 구스인 에벳멜렉에게 말하기를 만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님의 말씀에 내가 이 성에 재난을 내리고 복을 내리지 아니하리라 한 나의 말이 그 날에 네 눈 앞에 이루리라
16 Go, and say toEbed-melech the Ethiopian,Thus says theLordof hosts, the God of Israel:Behold, I will fulfill my words against this city for harm andnot for good, and they shall be accomplished before you on that day.
17 여호와의 말씀이니라 내가 그 날에 너를 구원하리니 네가 그 두려워하는 사람들의 손에 넘겨지지 아니하리라
17 But I will deliver you on that day, declares theLord, and you shall not be given into the hand of the menof whom you are afraid.
18 내가 반드시 너를 구원할 것인즉 네가 칼에 죽지 아니하고 네가 노략물 같이 네 목숨을 얻을 것이니 이는 네가 나를 믿었음이라 여호와의 말씀이니라 하시더라
18 For I will surely save you, and you shall not fall by the sword, but you shall have yourlife as a prize of war,because you have put your trust in me, declares theLord.
40장
1 사령관 느부사라단이 예루살렘과 유다의 포로를 바벨론으로 옮기는 중에 예레미야도 잡혀 사슬로 결박되어 가다가 라마에서 풀려난 후에 말씀이 여호와께로부터 예레미야에게 임하니라
1 The word that came to Jeremiah from theLordafter Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard had let him go fromRamah, when he took himbound in chains along with all the captives of Jerusalem and Judah who were being exiled to Babylon.
2 사령관이 예레미야를 불러다가 이르되 네 하나님 여호와께서 이 곳에 이 재난을 선포하시더니
2 The captain of the guard took Jeremiah and said to him,TheLordyour God pronounced this disaster against this place.
3 여호와께서 그가 말씀하신 대로 행하셨으니 이는 너희가 여호와께 범죄하고 그의 목소리에 순종하지 아니하였으므로 이제 이루어졌도다 이 일이 너희에게 임한 것이니라
3 TheLordhas brought it about, and has done as he said.Because you sinned against theLordand did not obey his voice, this thing has come upon you.
4 보라 내가 오늘 네 손의 사슬을 풀어 너를 풀어 주노니 만일 네가 나와 함께 바벨론으로 가는 것을 좋게 여기거든 가자 내가 너를 선대하리라 만일 나와 함께 바벨론으로 가는 것을 좋지 않게 여기거든 그만 두라 보라 온 땅이 네 앞에 있나니 네가 좋게 여기는 대로 옳게 여기는 곳으로 갈지니라 하니라
4 Now, behold, I release you today fromthe chains on your hands.If it seems good to you to come with me to Babylon, come, and I will look after you well,but if it seems wrong to you to come with me to Babylon, do not come.See, the whole land is before you; go wherever you think it good and right to go.
5 예레미야가 아직 돌이키기 전에 그가 다시 이르되 너는 바벨론의 왕이 유다 성읍들을 맡도록 세운 사반의 손자 아히감의 아들 그다랴에게로 돌아가서 그와 함께 백성 가운데 살거나 네가 옳게 여기는 곳으로 가거나 할지니라 하고 그 사령관이 그에게 양식과 선물을 주어 보내매
5 If you remain,then return toGedaliah the son of Ahikam, son of Shaphan,whom the king of Babylon appointed governor of the cities of Judah, and dwell with him among the people. Or go wherever you think it right to go.So the captain of the guard gave him an allowance of food and a present, and let him go.
6 예레미야가 미스바로 가서 아히감의 아들 그다랴에게로 나아가서 그 땅에 남아 있는 백성 가운데서 그와 함께 사니라
6 Then Jeremiah went toGedaliah the son of Ahikam, atMizpah, and lived with himamong the peoplewho were left in the land.디모데 후서
1장
1 하나님의 뜻으로 말미암아 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 생명의 약속대로 그리스도 예수의 사도 된 바울은
1 Paul,an apostle of Christ Jesusby the will of God according tothe promise of the life that is in Christ Jesus,
2 사랑하는 아들 디모데에게 편지하노니 하나님 아버지와 그리스도 예수 우리 주께로부터 은혜와 긍휼과 평강이 네게 있을지어다
2 To Timothy,my beloved child:Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.
3 내가 밤낮 간구하는 가운데 쉬지 않고 너를 생각하여 청결한 양심으로 조상적부터 섬겨 오는 하나님께 감사하고
3 I thank Godwhom I serve, as did my ancestors,with a clear conscience, as I remember youconstantly in my prayers night and day.
4 네 눈물을 생각하여 너 보기를 원함은 내 기쁨이 가득하게 하려 함이니
4 As I remember your tears,I long to see you, that I may be filled with joy.
5 이는 네 속에 거짓이 없는 믿음이 있음을 생각함이라 이 믿음은 먼저 네 외조모 로이스와 네 어머니 유니게 속에 있더니 네 속에도 있는 줄을 확신하노라
5 I am reminded ofyour sincere faith, a faith that dwelt first in your grandmother Lois andyour mother Eunice and now, I am sure, dwells in you as well.
6 그러므로 내가 나의 안수함으로 네 속에 있는 하나님의 은사를 다시 불일듯 하게 하기 위하여 너로 생각하게 하노니
6 For this reason I remind youto fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands,
7 하나님이 우리에게 주신 것은 두려워하는 마음이 아니요 오직 능력과 사랑과 절제하는 마음이니
7 for God gave usa spirit not of fear butof power and love and self-control.
