2장
1 파괴하는 자가 너를 치러 올라왔나니 너는 산성을 지키며 길을 파수하며 네 허리를 견고히 묶고 네 힘을 크게 굳게 할지어다
1 The scatterer has come up against you.Man the ramparts;watch the road;dress for battle;collect all your strength.
2 여호와께서 야곱의 영광을 회복하시되 이스라엘의 영광 같게 하시나니 이는 약탈자들이 약탈하였고 또 그들의 포도나무 가지를 없이 하였음이라
2 FortheLordis restoring the majesty of Jacobas the majesty of Israel,for plunderers have plundered themandruined their branches.
3 그의 용사들의 방패는 붉고 그의 무사들의 옷도 붉으며 그 항오를 벌이는 날에 병거의 쇠가 번쩍이고 노송나무 창이 요동하는도다
3 The shield of his mighty men is red;his soldiers are clothed in scarlet.The chariots come with flashing metalon the day he musters them;the cypress spears are brandished.
4 그 병거는 미친 듯이 거리를 달리며 대로에서 이리저리 빨리 달리니 그 모양이 횃불 같고 빠르기가 번개 같도다
4 The chariots race madly through the streets;they rush to and fro through the squares;they gleam like torches;they dart like lightning.
5 그가 그의 존귀한 자들을 생각해 내니 그들이 엎드러질 듯이 달려서 급히 성에 이르러 막을 것을 준비하도다
5 He remembershis officers;they stumble as they go,they hasten to the wall;the siege toweris set up.
6 강들의 수문이 열리고 왕궁이 소멸되며
6 The river gates are opened;the palacemelts away;
7 정한 대로 왕후가 벌거벗은 몸으로 끌려가니 그 모든 시녀들이 가슴을 치며 비둘기 같이 슬피 우는도다
7 its mistressisstripped;she is carried off,her slave girlslamenting,moaning like dovesand beating their breasts.
8 니느웨는 예로부터 물이 모인 못 같더니 이제 모두 도망하니 서라 서라 하나 돌아보는 자가 없도다
8 Nineveh is like a poolwhose waters run away.Halt! Halt!they cry,butnone turns back.
9 은을 노략하라 금을 노략하라 그 저축한 것이 무한하고 아름다운 기구가 풍부함이니라
9 Plunder the silver,plunder the gold!There is no end of the treasureor of the wealth of all precious things.
10 니느웨가 공허하였고 황폐하였도다 주민이 낙담하여 그 무릎이 서로 부딪히며 모든 허리가 아프게 되며 모든 낯이 빛을 잃도다
10 Desolate! Desolation and ruin!Hearts melt andknees tremble;anguish is in all loins;all faces grow pale!
11 이제 사자의 굴이 어디냐 젊은 사자가 먹을 곳이 어디냐 전에는 수사자 암사자가 그 새끼 사자와 함께 거기서 다니되 그것들을 두렵게 할 자가 없었으며
11 Where is the lions' den,the feeding place ofthe young lions,where the lion and lioness went,where his cubs were, withnone to disturb?
12 수사자가 그 새끼를 위하여 먹이를 충분히 찢고 그의 암사자들을 위하여 움켜 사냥한 것으로 그 굴을 채웠고 찢은 것으로 그 구멍을 채웠었도다
12 The lion tore enough for his cubsandstrangled prey for his lionesses;he filled his caves with preyand his dens with torn flesh.
13 만군의 여호와의 말씀에 내가 네 대적이 되어 네 병거들을 불살라 연기가 되게 하고 네 젊은 사자들을 칼로 멸할 것이며 내가 또 네 노략한 것을 땅에서 끊으리니 네 파견자의 목소리가 다시는 들리지 아니하리라 하셨느니라
13 Behold, I am against you, declares theLordof hosts, andI will burn yourchariots in smoke, and the sword shall devour your young lions. I will cut off your prey from the earth, andthe voice of your messengers shall no longer be heard.
3장
1 화 있을진저 피의 성이여 그 안에는 거짓이 가득하고 포악이 가득하며 탈취가 떠나지 아니하는도다
1 Woe tothe bloody city,all full of lies and plunder&emdash;no end to the prey!
2 휙휙 하는 채찍 소리, 윙윙 하는 병거 바퀴 소리, 뛰는 말, 달리는 병거,
2 The crack of the whip, andrumble of the wheel,galloping horse andbounding chariot!
3 충돌하는 기병, 번쩍이는 칼, 번개 같은 창, 죽임 당한 자의 떼, 주검의 큰 무더기, 무수한 시체여 사람이 그 시체에 걸려 넘어지니
3 Horsemen charging,flashing sword andglittering spear,hosts of slain,heaps of corpses,dead bodies without end&emdash;they stumble over the bodies!
4 이는 마술에 능숙한 미모의 음녀가 많은 음행을 함이라 그가 그의 음행으로 여러 나라를 미혹하고 그의 마술로 여러 족속을 미혹하느니라
4 And all for the countless whorings of theprostitute,graceful and of deadly charms,who betrays nations with her whorings,and peoples with her charms.
5 보라 내가 네게 말하노니 만군의 여호와의 말씀에 네 치마를 걷어 올려 네 얼굴에 이르게 하고 네 벌거벗은 것을 나라들에게 보이며 네 부끄러운 곳을 뭇 민족에게 보일 것이요
5 Behold, I am against you,declares theLordof hosts,andwill lift up your skirts over your face;and I will make nations look atyour nakednessand kingdoms at your shame.
6 내가 또 가증하고 더러운 것들을 네 위에 던져 능욕하여 너를 구경 거리가 되게 하리니
6 I will throw filth at youandtreat you with contemptand make youa spectacle.
7 그 때에 너를 보는 자가 다 네게서 도망하며 이르기를 니느웨가 황폐하였도다 누가 그것을 위하여 애곡하며 내가 어디서 너를 위로할 자를 구하리요 하리라
7 And all who look at youwill shrink from you and say,Wasted isNineveh;who will grieve for her?Where shall I seek comforters for you?
8 네가 어찌 노아몬보다 낫겠느냐 그는 강들 사이에 있으므로 물이 둘렸으니 바다가 성루가 되었고 바다가 방어벽이 되었으며
8 Are you better thanThebesthat satby the Nile,with water around her,her rampart a sea,and water her wall?
9 구스와 애굽은 그의 힘이 강하여 끝이 없었고 붓과 루빔이 그를 돕는 자가 되었으나
9 Cush was her strength;Egypt too, and that without limit;Put and theLibyans were herhelpers.
10 그가 포로가 되어 사로잡혀 갔고 그의 어린 아이들은 길 모퉁이 모퉁이에 메어침을 당하여 부서졌으며 그의 존귀한 자들은 제비 뽑혀 나뉘었고 그의 모든 권세자들은 사슬에 결박되었나니
10 Yet she became an exile;she went into captivity;her infants were dashed in piecesat the head of every street;for her honored menlots were cast,and all her great men were bound in chains.
11 너도 술에 취하여 숨으리라 너도 원수들 때문에 피난처를 찾으리라
11 You also will be drunken;you will go into hiding;you will seek a refuge from the enemy.
12 네 모든 산성은 무화과나무의 처음 익은 열매가 흔들기만 하면 먹는 자의 입에 떨어짐과 같으리라
12 All your fortresses arelike fig treeswith first-ripe figs&emdash;if shaken they fallinto the mouth of the eater.
13 네 가운데 장정들은 여인 같고 네 땅의 성문들은 네 원수 앞에 넓게 열리고 빗장들은 불에 타도다
13 Behold, your troopsare women in your midst.The gates of your landare wide open to your enemies;fire has devoured your bars.
14 너는 물을 길어 에워싸일 것을 대비하며 너의 산성들을 견고하게 하며 진흙에 들어가서 흙을 밟아 벽돌 가마를 수리하라
14 Draw water for the siege;strengthen your forts;go into the clay;tread the mortar;take hold of the brick mold!
15 거기서 불이 너를 삼키며 칼이 너를 베기를 느치가 먹는 것 같이 하리라 네가 느치 같이 스스로 많게 할지어다 네가 메뚜기 같이 스스로 많게 할지어다
15 There will the fire devour you;the sword will cut you off.It willdevour youlike the locust.Multiply yourselveslike the locust;multiplylike the grasshopper!
16 네가 네 상인을 하늘의 별보다 많게 하였으나 느치가 날개를 펴서 날아감과 같고
16 You increasedyour merchantsmore than the stars of the heavens.The locust spreads its wings and flies away.
17 네 방백은 메뚜기 같고 너의 장수들은 큰 메뚜기 떼가 추운 날에는 울타리에 깃들였다가 해가 뜨면 날아감과 같으니 그 있는 곳을 알 수 없도다
17 Yourprinces arelike grasshoppers,your scribeslike clouds of locustssettling on the fencesin a day of cold&emdash;when the sun rises, they fly away;no one knows where they are.
18 앗수르 왕이여 네 목자가 자고 네 귀족은 누워 쉬며 네 백성은 산들에 흩어지나 그들을 모을 사람이 없도다
18 Your shepherdsare asleep,O king of Assyria;your nobles slumber.Your peopleare scattered on the mountainswith none to gather them.
19 네 상처는 고칠 수 없고 네 부상은 중하도다 네 소식을 듣는 자가 다 너를 보고 손뼉을 치나니 이는 그들이 항상 네게 행패를 당하였음이 아니더냐 하시니라
19 There is no easing your hurt;your wound is grievous.All who hear the news about youclap their hands over you.Forupon whom has not comeyour unceasing evil?요한계시록
11장
15 일곱째 천사가 나팔을 불매 하늘에 큰 음성들이 나서 이르되 세상 나라가 우리 주와 그의 그리스도의 나라가 되어 그가 세세토록 왕 노릇 하시리로다 하니
15 Thenthe seventh angel blew his trumpet, andthere were loud voices in heaven, saying,The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and ofhis Christ, andhe shall reign forever and ever.
16 하나님 앞에서 자기 보좌에 앉아 있던 이십사 장로가 엎드려 얼굴을 땅에 대고 하나님께 경배하여
16 And the twenty-four elderswho sit on their thrones before Godfell on their faces and worshiped God,
17 이르되 감사하옵나니 옛적에도 계셨고 지금도 계신 주 하나님 곧 전능하신 이여 친히 큰 권능을 잡으시고 왕 노릇 하시도다
17 saying,We give thanks to you, Lord God Almighty,who is and who was,for you have taken your great powerandbegun to reign.
18 이방들이 분노하매 주의 진노가 내려 죽은 자를 심판하시며 종 선지자들과 성도들과 또 작은 자든지 큰 자든지 주의 이름을 경외하는 자들에게 상 주시며 또 땅을 망하게 하는 자들을 멸망시키실 때로소이다 하더라
18 The nations raged,butyour wrath came,andthe time for the dead to be judged,and for rewarding your servants,the prophets and saints,andthose who fear your name,both small and great,andfor destroying the destroyers of the earth.
19 이에 하늘에 있는 하나님의 성전이 열리니 성전 안에 하나님의 언약궤가 보이며 또 번개와 음성들과 우레와 지진과 큰 우박이 있더라
19 ThenGod's temple in heaven was opened, andthe ark of his covenant was seen within his temple. There were flashes of lightning, rumblings,peals of thunder, an earthquake, andheavy hail.
