느헤미야
2장
11 내가 예루살렘에 이르러 머무른 지 사흘 만에
11 So I went to Jerusalem and was there three days.
12 내 하나님께서 예루살렘을 위해 무엇을 할 것인지 내 마음에 주신 것을 내가 아무에게도 말하지 아니하고 밤에 일어나 몇몇 사람과 함께 나갈새 내가 탄 짐승 외에는 다른 짐승이 없더라
12 Then I arose in the night, I and a few men with me. And I told no one what my God had put into my heart to do for Jerusalem. There was no animal with me but the one on which I rode.
13 그 밤에 골짜기 문으로 나가서 용정으로 분문에 이르는 동안에 보니 예루살렘 성벽이 다 무너졌고 성문은 불탔더라
13 I went out by night bythe Valley Gate to the Dragon Spring and tothe Dung Gate, and I inspected the walls of Jerusalemthat were broken downand its gates that had been destroyed by fire.
14 앞으로 나아가 샘문과 왕의 못에 이르러서는 탄 짐승이 지나갈 곳이 없는지라
14 Then I went on tothe Fountain Gate and tothe King's Pool, but there was no room for the animal that was under me to pass.
15 그 밤에 시내를 따라 올라가서 성벽을 살펴본 후에 돌아서 골짜기 문으로 들어와 돌아왔으나
15 Then I went up in the nightby the valley and inspected the wall, and I turned back and entered by the Valley Gate, and so returned.
16 방백들은 내가 어디 갔었으며 무엇을 하였는지 알지 못하였고 나도 그 일을 유다 사람들에게나 제사장들에게나 귀족들에게나 방백들에게나 그 외에 일하는 자들에게 알리지 아니하다가
16 And the officials did not know where I had gone or what I was doing, and I had not yet told the Jews, the priests, the nobles, the officials, and the rest who were to do the work.
17 후에 그들에게 이르기를 우리가 당한 곤경은 너희도 보고 있는 바라 예루살렘이 황폐하고 성문이 불탔으니 자, 예루살렘 성을 건축하여 다시 수치를 당하지 말자 하고
17 Then I said to them,You see the trouble we are in,how Jerusalem lies in ruins with its gates burned. Come, let us build the wall of Jerusalem, that we may no longersuffer derision.
18 또 그들에게 하나님의 선한 손이 나를 도우신 일과 왕이 내게 이른 말씀을 전하였더니 그들의 말이 일어나 건축하자 하고 모두 힘을 내어 이 선한 일을 하려 하매
18 And I told themof the hand of my God that had been upon me for good, and also of the words that the king had spoken to me. And they said,Let us rise up and build.So they strengthened their hands for the good work.
19 호론 사람 산발랏과 종이었던 암몬 사람 도비야와 아라비아 사람 게셈이 이 말을 듣고 우리를 업신여기고 우리를 비웃어 이르되 너희가 하는 일이 무엇이냐 너희가 왕을 배반하고자 하느냐 하기로
19 But when Sanballat the Horonite and Tobiah the Ammonite servant andGeshem the Arab heard of it,they jeered at us and despised us and said,What is this thing that you are doing?Are you rebelling against the king?
20 내가 그들에게 대답하여 이르되 하늘의 하나님이 우리를 형통하게 하시리니 그의 종들인 우리가 일어나 건축하려니와 오직 너희에게는 예루살렘에서 아무 기업도 없고 권리도 없고 기억되는 바도 없다 하였느니라
20 Then I replied to them,The God of heaven will make us prosper, and we his servants will arise and build, but you have no portion or right or claimin Jerusalem.
3장
1 그 때에 대제사장 엘리아십이 그의 형제 제사장들과 함께 일어나 양문을 건축하여 성별하고 문짝을 달고 또 성벽을 건축하여 함메아 망대에서부터 하나넬 망대까지 성별하였고
1 ThenEliashib the high priest rose up with his brothers the priests, and they builtthe Sheep Gate. They consecrated it andset its doors. They consecrated it as far as the Tower of the Hundred, as far as theTower of Hananel.
2 그 다음은 여리고 사람들이 건축하였고 또 그 다음은 이므리의 아들 삭굴이 건축하였으며
2 And next to himthe men of Jericho built. And next to themZaccur the son of Imri built.
3 어문은 하스나아의 자손들이 건축하여 그 들보를 얹고 문짝을 달고 자물쇠와 빗장을 갖추었고
3 The sons of Hassenaah builtthe Fish Gate.They laid its beams andset its doors, its bolts, and its bars.
4 그 다음은 학고스의 손자 우리아의 아들 므레못이 중수하였고 그 다음은 므세사벨의 손자 베레갸의 아들 므술람이 중수하였고 그 다음은 바아나의 아들 사독이 중수하였고
4 And next to themMeremoth the son of Uriah, son of Hakkoz repaired. And next to themMeshullam the son of Berechiah, son of Meshezabel repaired. And next to them Zadok the son of Baana repaired.
5 그 다음은 드고아 사람들이 중수하였으나 그 귀족들은 그들의 주인들의 공사를 분담하지 아니하였으며
5 And next to themthe Tekoites repaired, but their nobles would not stoop to serve their Lord.
6 옛 문은 바세아의 아들 요야다와 브소드야의 아들 므술람이 중수하여 그 들보를 얹고 문짝을 달고 자물쇠와 빗장을 갖추었고
6 Joiada the son of Paseah and Meshullam the son of Besodeiahrepaired the Gate of Yeshanah.They laid its beams andset its doors, its bolts, and its bars.
7 그 다음은 기브온 사람 믈라댜와 메로놋 사람 야돈이 강 서쪽 총독의 관할에 속한 기브온 사람들 및 미스바 사람들과 더불어 중수하였고
7 And next to them repaired Melatiah the Gibeonite and Jadon the Meronothite, the men of Gibeon and of Mizpah, the seat ofthe governor of the province Beyond the River.
8 그 다음은 금장색 할해야의 아들 웃시엘 등이 중수하였고 그 다음은 향품 장사 하나냐 등이 중수하되 그들이 예루살렘의 넓은 성벽까지 하였고
8 Next to them Uzziel the son of Harhaiah, goldsmiths, repaired. Next to him Hananiah, one of the perfumers, repaired, and they restored Jerusalem as far asthe Broad Wall.
9 그 다음은 예루살렘 지방의 절반을 다스리는 후르의 아들 르바야가 중수하였고
9 Next to them Rephaiah the son of Hur,ruler of half the district ofJerusalem, repaired.
10 그 다음은 하루맙의 아들 여다야가 자기 집과 마주 대한 곳을 중수하였고 그 다음은 하삽느야의 아들 핫두스가 중수하였고
10 Next to them Jedaiah the son of Harumaph repaired opposite his house. And next to him Hattush the son of Hashabneiah repaired.
11 하림의 아들 말기야와 바핫모압의 아들 핫숩이 한 부분과 화덕 망대를 중수하였고
11 Malchijah the son of Harim and Hasshub the son of Pahath-moab repaired another section andthe Tower of the Ovens.
12 그 다음은 예루살렘 지방 절반을 다스리는 할로헤스의 아들 살룸과 그의 딸들이 중수하였고
12 Next to him Shallum the son of Hallohesh,ruler of half the district of Jerusalem, repaired, he and his daughters.
13 골짜기 문은 하눈과 사노아 주민이 중수하여 문을 세우며 문짝을 달고 자물쇠와 빗장을 갖추고 또 분문까지 성벽 천 규빗을 중수하였고
13 Hanun and the inhabitants of Zanoah repairedthe Valley Gate. They rebuilt it andset its doors, its bolts, and its bars, and repaired a thousand cubitsof the wall, as far asthe Dung Gate.
14 분문은 벧학게렘 지방을 다스리는 레갑의 아들 말기야가 중수하여 문을 세우며 문짝을 달고 자물쇠와 빗장을 갖추었고
14 Malchijah the son of Rechab, ruler of the district ofBeth-haccherem, repairedthe Dung Gate. He rebuilt it andset its doors, its bolts, and its bars.고린도전서
7장
17 오직 주께서 각 사람에게 나눠 주신 대로 하나님이 각 사람을 부르신 그대로 행하라 내가 모든 교회에서 이와 같이 명하노라
17 Only let each person lead the lifethat the Lord has assigned to him, and to which God has called him.This is my rule inall the churches.
18 할례자로서 부르심을 받은 자가 있느냐 무할례자가 되지 말며 무할례자로 부르심을 받은 자가 있느냐 할례를 받지 말라
18 Was anyone at the time of his call already circumcised? Let him not seek to remove the marks of circumcision. Was anyone at the time of his call uncircumcised?Let him not seek circumcision.
19 할례 받는 것도 아무 것도 아니요 할례 받지 아니하는 것도 아무 것도 아니로되 오직 하나님의 계명을 지킬 따름이니라
19 For neither circumcision counts for anything nor uncircumcision, butkeeping the commandments of God.
20 각 사람은 부르심을 받은 그 부르심 그대로 지내라
20 Each one should remain in the condition in which he was called.
21 네가 종으로 있을 때에 부르심을 받았느냐 염려하지 말라 그러나 네가 자유롭게 될 수 있거든 그것을 이용하라
21 Were you a bondservantwhen called? Do not be concerned about it. (But if you can gain your freedom, avail yourself of the opportunity.)
22 주 안에서 부르심을 받은 자는 종이라도 주께 속한 자유인이요 또 그와 같이 자유인으로 있을 때에 부르심을 받은 자는 그리스도의 종이니라
22 For he who was called in the Lord as a bondservant isa freedman of the Lord. Likewise he who was free when called isa bondservant of Christ.
23 너희는 값으로 사신 것이니 사람들의 종이 되지 말라
23 You were bought with a price;do not become bondservantsof men.
24 형제들아 너희는 각각 부르심을 받은 그대로 하나님과 함께 거하라
24 So, brothers,in whatever condition each was called, there let him remain with God.
