호세야
13장
1 에브라임이 말을 하면 사람들이 떨었도다 그가 이스라엘 중에서 자기를 높이더니 바알로 말미암아 범죄하므로 망하였거늘
1 When Ephraim spoke, there was trembling;he was exalted in Israel,but he incurred guiltthrough Baal and died.
2 이제도 그들은 더욱 범죄하여 그 은으로 자기를 위하여 우상을 부어 만들되 자기의 정교함을 따라 우상을 만들었으며 그것은 다 은장색이 만든 것이거늘 그들은 그것에 대하여 말하기를 제사를 드리는 자는 송아지와 입을 맞출 것이라 하도다
2 And now they sin more and more,andmake for themselves metal images,idols skillfully made of their silver,all of them the work of craftsmen.It is said of them,Those who offer human sacrificekiss calves!
3 이러므로 그들은 아침 구름 같으며 쉬 사라지는 이슬 같으며 타작 마당에서 광풍에 날리는 쭉정이 같으며 굴뚝에서 나가는 연기 같으리라
3 Therefore they shall belike the morning mistorlike the dew that goes early away,like the chaff that swirls from the threshing floororlike smoke from a window.
4 그러나 애굽 땅에 있을 때부터 나는 네 하나님 여호와라 나 밖에 네가 다른 신을 알지 말 것이라 나 외에는 구원자가 없느니라
4 ButI am theLordyour Godfrom the land of Egypt;you know no God but me,andbesides me there is no savior.
5 내가 광야 마른 땅에서 너를 알았거늘
5 It was I who knew you in the wilderness,in the land of drought;
6 그들이 먹여 준 대로 배가 불렀고 배가 부르니 그들의 마음이 교만하여 이로 말미암아 나를 잊었느니라
6 but when they had grazed,they became full,they were filled, and their heart was lifted up;therefore they forgot me.
7 그러므로 내가 그들에게 사자 같고 길 가에서 기다리는 표범 같으니라
7 SoI am to them like a lion;like a leopard I will lurk beside the way.
8 내가 새끼 잃은 곰 같이 그들을 만나 그의 염통 꺼풀을 찢고 거기서 암사자 같이 그들을 삼키리라 들짐승이 그들을 찢으리라
8 I will fall upon themlike a bear robbed of her cubs;I will tear open their breast,and there I will devour them like a lion,as a wild beast would rip them open.
9 이스라엘아 네가 패망하였나니 이는 너를 도와 주는 나를 대적함이니라
9 He destroysyou, O Israel,for you are against me, againstyour helper.
10 전에 네가 이르기를 내게 왕과 지도자들을 주소서 하였느니라 네 모든 성읍에서 너를 구원할 자 곧 네 왕이 이제 어디 있으며 네 재판장들이 어디 있느냐
10 Where now is your king, to save you in all your cities?Where are all your rulers&emdash;those of whomyou said,Give me a king and princes?
11 내가 분노하므로 네게 왕을 주고 진노하므로 폐하였노라
11 I gave you a king in my anger,andI took him away in my wrath.
12 에브라임의 불의가 봉함되었고 그 죄가 저장되었나니
12 The iniquity of Ephraim isbound up;his sin iskept in store.
13 해산하는 여인의 어려움이 그에게 임하리라 그는 지혜 없는 자식이로다 해산할 때가 되어도 그가 나오지 못하느니라
13 The pangs of childbirth come for him,but he is an unwise son,for at the right time he does not present himselfat the opening of the womb.
14 내가 그들을 스올의 권세에서 속량하며 사망에서 구속하리니 사망아 네 재앙이 어디 있느냐 스올아 네 멸망이 어디 있느냐 뉘우침이 내 눈 앞에서 숨으리라
14 Shall I ransom them from the power of Sheol?Shall I redeem them from Death?ODeath, where are your plagues?OSheol, where is your sting?Compassion is hidden from my eyes.
15 그가 비록 형제 중에서 결실하나 동풍이 오리니 곧 광야에서 일어나는 여호와의 바람이라 그의 근원이 마르며 그의 샘이 마르고 그 쌓아 둔 바 모든 보배의 그릇이 약탈되리로다
15 Thoughhe may flourish among his brothers,the east wind, the wind of theLord, shall come,rising from the wilderness,and his fountain shall dry up;his spring shall be parched;it shall striphis treasuryof every precious thing.
16 사마리아가 그들의 하나님을 배반하였으므로 형벌을 당하여 칼에 엎드러질 것이요 그 어린 아이는 부서뜨려지며 아이 밴 여인은 배가 갈라지리라
16 Samariashall bear her guilt,becauseshe has rebelled against her God;they shall fall by the sword;their little ones shall be dashed in pieces,and theirpregnant women ripped open.요한계시록

9 나 요한은 너희 형제요 예수의 환난과 나라와 참음에 동참하는 자라 하나님의 말씀과 예수를 증언하였음으로 말미암아 밧모라 하는 섬에 있었더니
9 I, John, your brother andpartner inthe tribulation andthe kingdom andthe patient endurance that are in Jesus, was on the island called Patmoson account of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus.
10 주의 날에 내가 성령에 감동되어 내 뒤에서 나는 나팔 소리 같은 큰 음성을 들으니
10 I was in the Spiriton the Lord's day, and I heard behind me a loud voicelike a trumpet
11 이르되 네가 보는 것을 두루마리에 써서 에베소, 서머나, 버가모, 두아디라, 사데, 빌라델비아, 라오디게아 등 일곱 교회에 보내라 하시기로
11 saying,Write what you see in a book and send it to the seven churches, to Ephesus and to Smyrna and to Pergamum and to Thyatira and to Sardis and to Philadelphia and to Laodicea.
12 몸을 돌이켜 나에게 말한 음성을 알아 보려고 돌이킬 때에 일곱 금 촛대를 보았는데
12 Then I turned to see the voice that was speaking to me, and on turning I sawseven golden lampstands,
13 촛대 사이에 인자 같은 이가 발에 끌리는 옷을 입고 가슴에 금띠를 띠고
13 and in the midst of the lampstandsone likea son of man,clothed with a long robe andwith a golden sash around his chest.
14 그의 머리와 털의 희기가 흰 양털 같고 눈 같으며 그의 눈은 불꽃 같고
14 The hairs of his head were white, like white wool, like snow.His eyes were like a flame of fire,
15 그의 발은 풀무불에 단련한 빛난 주석 같고 그의 음성은 많은 물 소리와 같으며
15 his feet were like burnished bronze, refined in a furnace, andhis voice was like the roar of many waters.
16 그의 오른손에 일곱 별이 있고 그의 입에서 좌우에 날선 검이 나오고 그 얼굴은 해가 힘있게 비치는 것 같더라
16 In his right hand he held seven stars,from his mouth came a sharp two-edged sword, andhis face was like the sun shiningin full strength.
17 내가 볼 때에 그의 발 앞에 엎드러져 죽은 자 같이 되매 그가 오른손을 내게 얹고 이르시되 두려워하지 말라 나는 처음이요 마지막이니
17 When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Buthe laid his right hand on me,saying,Fear not,I am the first and the last,
18 곧 살아 있는 자라 내가 전에 죽었었노라 볼지어다 이제 세세토록 살아 있어 사망과 음부의 열쇠를 가졌노니
18 and the living one.I died, and behold I am alive forevermore, andI have the keys of Death and Hades.
19 그러므로 네가 본 것과 지금 있는 일과 장차 될 일을 기록하라
19 Write thereforethe things that you have seen, those that are and those that are to take place after this.
20 네가 본 것은 내 오른손의 일곱 별의 비밀과 또 일곱 금 촛대라 일곱 별은 일곱 교회의 사자요 일곱 촛대는 일곱 교회니라
20 As for the mystery of the seven stars that you saw in my right hand, andthe seven golden lampstands, the seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, andthe seven lampstands are the seven churches.
